Since 2000, Freetime^® develops outdoor gears with one commitment: outdoor adventure must be affordable. From classical rectangular sleeping bags to high-end lightweight mummy, from regular camping domes to technical trekking tunnel tents, from robust hiking rucksacks to lightweight tensioned-mesh panel backpacks, our French brand offers a complete range of outdoor equipment.
We work closely with our suppliers for more than 15 years. This gives us the certainty to make high quality equipment every year. The long-term collaboration between our design team and the development teams in the factories assures us efficiency and provides us with good team spirit.
To ensure the long life of Freetime^® items, we work with fabrics that we know for long time are perfectly adapted to be used in the outdoor industry. From robust 600D and 900D polyester for large rucksacks to ultrathin 15D polyamide for our lightweight Nanopak sleeping bags.
At Freetime^® we are conscious of the environmental challenges ahead and even if we are a small company, we want to take any possible actions to make our part. That’s why we have been using Responsible Down Standard certified down for our sleeping bags for several years. And starting with collection 2020 all our sleeping bags and backpacks will be made of fabrics finished with PCF-free water repellent. We know there are lots of little and big things that can be done to improve our action and we are working on it, always with the philosophy that quality outdoor gear must be affordable.
