Insulation

• PrimaLoft Gold insulation retains some of its thermal power even when wet, unlike natural down.

Is the jacket waterproof?

No. It is water-resistant thanks to a water-repellent treatment, but it is not waterproof.

Does it protect against the wind?

Yes. The Flylite Ultra fabric offers good wind resistance.

Is it breathable?

Yes. The fabric is designed to allow moisture to escape while limiting heat loss.

Is the Talus Jacket insulating?

Yes. It uses PrimaLoft Gold 60 g/m² insulation.

Can it be worn as a main jacket?

Yes, in cold, dry or slightly damp weather. In case of heavy rain, a waterproof layer is necessary.

Is the hood adjustable?

Yes. It is fixed but has volume controls and a malleable visor.

How many pockets does the jacket have?

Four pockets: two hand pockets, one external chest pocket and one internal chest pocket.

Is the jacket lightweight and compressible?

Yes. It is designed to be lightweight and compact in a bag.

Is it suitable for very humid conditions?

No. It is not designed as a waterproof jacket.
